8.00 am: Hrs. this morning start your tour with visit to Grand Mosque the most exquisite Mosque in Oman. A major feature of the main prayer hall is the hand-made Persian carpet consisting of 1,700 million knots, weighing 21 tones, and made in a single piece measuring 70 x 60 meters.
Note: Ladies visiting the mosque are required to cover their head with scarf and do not wear shorts, beachwear, or sleeveless outfits as they are to be fully covered. Men are required to wear long trousers. No shorts are allowed.
Visit the Bait Zubair Museum, exhibiting the wealth of Oman’s Cultural history and thus imparting knowledge about the country’s rich culture and traditions to the visitor. Later you drive along the picturesque Corniche to the once walled district of Old Muscat. You will have photo stops at the official residence of his Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik Al Said, the Al Alam Palace, which is flanked by the 16th century Portuguese forts Mirani and Jalali. You will be strolling through Muttrah Souq, where you will be bargaining for handicrafts and silver items.

The route down Wadi Bani Auf is one of Arabia’s greatest 4WD adventures and includes a visit to the village of Bilad Sait, a remote fortress village. Wadi Bani Awf also spelled Wadi Bani Auf, is a large wadi in wilayat Al Rustaq in the South Batinah Governorate of Oman. The wadi covers a large area with several villages and lots of cool attractions worth visiting, including the famous Snake Canyon! The route through Wadi Bani Auf goes through beautiful scenery and connects all the way to Balad Sayat in Al Dakhiliya region by crossing the Hajar Mountains and offers some of the best off-road driving experience you can find in Oman.
Later drive to Jabal Shams and enjoy the view at Oman Grand Canyon.

The Balcony Walk”. This is an easy trek with limited elevation, but it offers amazing views over the Grand Canyon of Oman: An Nakhur. The trek leads to abandon village, a natural pool, and several caves. You will hike along a ledge on the edge of the Grand Canyon to the abandoned village of As Sab. The hike is also called “W6”.
Visit Misfah, a pretty village with stone houses, precariously clinging to the side of a huge mountain cliff. The village is laden with date, lemon, and banana groves.
We visit the village of Al Hamra, famous for their old multi-storied mud houses surrounded by a vast expanse of lush green date plantations.
Afterwards, on to Bahla, best known for its gigantic ancient fort with towers of unbaked bricks, a remarkable example of this type of fortification that sits adjacent to the Friday Mosque with its decoratively sculpted prayer niche dominating the surrounding mud brick settlement and palm grove.

This day visit Nizwa Souq. The main highlight in the Souq is the Cattle Auction that takes place every Friday. Auction is the traditional way of selling the cattle like sheep, goats, cows, and camels. These are brought by their owners from nearby villages. This is what cannot be missed if you are in Nizwa on Friday.

Continue from here to Jebel Akhder. In Arabic Jebel Akhder means green mountains as the area is famous for gardens, farms and terrace plantations.
At the top, discover the history and culture of iconic villages: Al Aqr, Al Ayn. These villages still use an ancient irrigation system called ‘falaj’ to maintain the cliff hanging terrace farms. Harvesting Damask roses, pomegranates, walnuts, pears, grapes, garlic and onions. Pass a medicinal distillery, majlas, mosques, abandoned and inhabited homes, narrow alleys and old wooden doors.
On the way back, you will make a short stop at Birkat Al Mouz, an old village that is famous for its ruins, large banana plantation and is also home to the old Falaj irrigation system.
Later return to Nizwa

We will visit Wadi Bani Khalid; this is considered one of the most beautiful wadis in Oman. The drive to Wadi Bani Khalid is through the Eastern Hajar Mountains, which offers a panoramic view of the landscape below. We pass by many pretty villages embedded in the mountains. Here the road winds down to the wadi alongside a large, shallow pool fringed with vegetation and ends at a village. We park our vehicles at this point and continue a short trek to the deep blue pools of the wadi. Enjoy a swim in this glorious grace of nature or a walk in the wadi.
Later we will head into the Wahiba Sands, a vast mass of undulating red and white sea of sand. The ever-changing patterns of the dunes are a photographer’s delight.
Visit a Bedouin family in the heart of the desert and get to more about their culture and daily life. Enjoy Arabic coffee and head to some exciting sand dune driving, we will reach our desert camp for the night.

Drive to Sur. Visit of the factory of the “dhows”, the typical Omani boats, where here they are built completely by hand and in wood.
Continue and visit the dhow Open air Museum which is dedicated to the shipbuilding lineage of the city of Sur in Oman. Built over 70 years ago, the wooden fishing vessel of Fateh Al Khair has strong historical significance to it. It was brought back to Yemen, restored, and grounded on dry land. The ship is said to be hand-built without any nails, and hand-woven ropes were used to shore up.
After dinner, drive to Ras Al Jinz Turtle reserve for a guided turtle watching experience.
After tour, drive back to the hotel.

Drive to Wadi Shab. Inside you will have to walk along palm groves, on rugged rocky cliffs and swim through some pools to get to the main attraction, which is the submerged cave with waterfalls. It will take you about 30-45 minutes’ walk to get to the cave and to enter it, one must swim through a hole between the mountains.
Continuing northwards, you will reach the so-called Biman Sinkhole, a singular geological formation consisting of a deep crater in the ground created by the sinking of the vault by the interaction of brackish water with the components of the rocks and at the bottom of which there is a kind of emerald lake.
