Day 1 , Wed. 29 November 2023Arrival at Rovaniemi Domestic Airport

Upon arrival our coach transfer will transfer you from Rovaniemi Airport to your resort Hotel

Welcome to Rovaniemi, please look for a sign with your name on it at the arrival hall after pick up your luggage. Meet your driver & then transfer to your hotel. Overnight at Santa Igloos Arctic Circle or similar

 Day 2 , Thu. 30 November 2023Rovaniemi

Breakfast at the Hotel, will be ready as our coach at disposal for 4hrs, will be waiting you outside the Igloos

The real fun will start.  You will do 1Hr Husky Safari, sled your sled dog team through the White Wilderness

Good to know Suitability children above 4 yrs. When sharing the husky sleigh on the safari one is standing behind a sleigh as a controller/rider and one is sitting on a sleigh as a passenger. – Controller/riders can be changed during the safari

2nd Stop – Reindeer Farm visit, reindeer ride for 30 minutes

Experience a traditional reindeer sleigh ride and learn about reindeer and their herders.

On this memorable ride, you’ll be transported by car to a Lappish reindeer farm to try reindeer sleighing! This traditional way of travelling through snowy forests is a unique experience – in the evening, you may even see the Northern Lights blaze up the sky. Enjoy a hot cup of coffee with a bun around a campfire and learn about the fascinating life of reindeer herders.

What is included: thermal outfit, guidance in English, reindeer farm visit, reindeer sleigh ride, snack by the fire, hot beverage, information about reindeer and reindeer herding, programme transfers.

3rd Stop Santa Claus Village Visit. Santa Claus Village is a magical place to visit in any year’s season. There are many souvenir shops, meeting the real Santa, visiting Santa’s Main Post Office, travel service companies, cafes, and restaurants in the Santa Claus Village. And of course, Santa is there too, in his chamber every day of the year. The Arctic Circle is a circle of latitude that runs 66°33′45.9″ north of the Equator. It marks the southernmost latitude where the sun can stay continuously below or above the horizon for 24 hours – these phenomena are known as the Midnight Sun in the summer and the Polar Night (“Kaamos”) in the winter. In Rovaniemi, the Arctic Circle runs through Santa Claus Village, located eight kilometers north of the city center, where it is clearly marked. Santa Claus Village in Lapland is a popular place to cross the Arctic Circle: here the line is kept, and you can even get a certificate confirming the feat.  Overnight in Premium Igloo at Santa’s Igloos Arctic Circle or similar.

 Day 3,      Fri. 1 December 2023Rovaniemi

Breakfast at hotel. Memory from Lapland, Handicraft, and home visit. Visit a local Lappish home and handicraft workshop and get to know the secrets of local food. Today you will discover what is inside the wooden walls of a traditional Lappish home, as a local family warmly welcomes you to step in. During the visit, you will be introduced to the craft of reindeer antler carving, as your hosts are specialized in handicrafts using local natural materials. Your self-prepared piece of art you may, of course, take home as a keepsake! Afterwards you taste and learn that Finnish wellbeing comes from the nature – local snack with blueberry juice will complete the local experience. Good to know: This programme includes a snack, so please advise on any special diets or food allergies in advance. Bring along your camera and curiosity.  

Your 2nd Stop – Aurora ice floating. Dip yourself into a frozen lake under the Auroras and let your mind rest, sounds bizarre doesn’t it! Tonight, this is possible! This guided floating is totally safe with a high- quality rescue suit that covers your whole body and keeps you dry. As you have your own clothing under the suit you will not get cold even in the open 0-degree water. The circumstances are truly arctic! If the weather is clear, we can see beautiful stars and may even get to marvel the magnificent Northern Lights.

Duration: 3 hours Included: Winter clothing, transfers, floating, hot drinks and guiding in English.

 Day 4, Sat. 2 December 2023Rovaniemi

Breakfast at hotel, followed by a 2h Snowmobile Safari. Discover Lapland’s unique snowy nature and the fun of snowmobiling. The best way to get to the heart of nature – and back. During this fun safari, you’ll learn how to ride a snowmobile along a frozen river valley and through snow-covered forests. Enjoy the beautiful views of the river valley from the hilltops. A break with hot beverages will keep your motor running.

What is included: thermal outfit, guidance in English, snowmobiling 2 persons/snowmobile, fuel, traffic insurance (maximum personal liability €980), hot beverage.

– This safari is co2 compensated from the snowmobile fuel emission
– Self liability can be reduced to €150 by paying waiver supplement €15 per safari driver

Arktikum is a science centre and museum that lets you experience northern nature, culture, and history up close. Housing the University of Lapland’s Arctic Centre and the Regional Museum of Lapland, we stimulate thought, encourage debate, and provide a deeper understanding of the Arctic.

 Day 5, Sun. 3 December 2023Rovaniemi – Helsinki

Breakfast at hotel Coach transfer: Hotel → Airport. Please be ready with your luggage at the lobby. Make sure you have checked out of your hotel room. Your driver or guide will meet you at your hotel lobby and drive to airport. Coach transfer: Helsinki Airport → Hotel. Welcome to Helsinki! Please look for a sign with your name on it at the arrival hall after you pick up your luggage. Meet your driver or guide and then transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Superior Room at Hotel Haven or similar.

 Day 6, Mon. 4 December 2023Helsinki

Breakfast at hotel, Free time at leisure moving around in your won the center of Helsinki – do last minute shopping, check out formalities & our Coach transfer will transfer you from Hotel → Helsinki Airport. Your driver will pick you up from the hotel lobby and drive you to the Airport.
